Through the combined experience of its management personnel, Submec offers experience throughout the project development, from early conceptual engineering through to engineering design, detailed design, procurement, offshore installation and operations support.
Our personnel have had considerable experience in the offshore industry whilst working with major International Engineering, ROV & Diving Service companies and Installation contractors.
Conceptual & Feasibility Engineering
Several of our personnel are experienced in conducting feasibility assessments & conceptual engineering for offshore projects. Submec approaches each new project in a professional manner. With our experience and innovative thinking we will provide our clients with bespoke solutions that best suit their individual requirements.
Submec Offshore has several highly qualified individuals who specialise in the field of Risk Analysis. Submec applies a risk based approach to economic screening & evaluation. We provide the capability to determine the most suitable economic & risk model to be applied to our clients’ individual, but specific, requirements.
Verification & Validation
An increasingly litigious operating environment, coupled with a shift in social awareness, requires companies to rigorously scrutinise their activities & operations. Clients are becoming extremely conscious of both their social & legal obligations with respect to their Duty of Care to both individuals & to the environment. Verification & validation are important tools in confirming the acceptability of a proposed design, modification or activity and in determining their effectiveness in achieving the pre-determined corporate & project objectives.

Submec provides ongoing support to projects through the placement of Engineers into clients’ offices to act as the Project Manager or Technical Consultant for a specific project. Submec are continually involved in projects through-out Australia & the Asian region from FEED through to start-up and operations. Roles and responsibilities carried out by Submec staff include scheduling, resourcing, tender preparation & review, sub-contractor management, training, equipment and personnel support, equipment & tooling hire and the provision of technical and operational expertise.
Submec Offshore are experienced in project management, installation engineering and Subsea Operations Support and can provide Clients with a "One Stop Shop" arrangement. Where Submec Offshore does not have the necessary in-house equipment or skills, such as vessels, ROVs or divers, these services can be provided by utilising the Submec Offshore network of alliances and agreements. These existing arrangements have been developed & matured in a working environment with a select number of reputable companies established & experienced in their respective fields. Submec Offshore’s sub-contract arrangements are completely transparent to our client & result in minimum effort to manage challenging technical & commercial interfaces.
