Personnel and Training
Submec has based its reputation on supplying qualified personnel that are competent individuals and highly motivated. Our qualified personnel are recruited on the basis of having extensive and detailed experience in the field of expertise.
Engineering
The senior engineering personnel have a minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience gained whilst working in the Offshore Oil & Gas Environment. Submec further recognises the importance of interpersonal and leadership skills, combined with technical expertise, in creating effective multi-disciplinary teams.
Our graduate engineers are strategically placed to gain valuable working experience in the Offshore Oil & Gas Environment. Submec offers continued training to improve the interpersonal and leadership skills, combined with technical training that is required to be part of our multi-disciplinary team.
ROV Personnel
Our ROV Superintendent personnel have a minimum of 10 years experience gained whilst working in the ROV Service Industry. All Superintendents have a technical background and excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to lead an effective team for any ROV project.
Our ROV Pilots & Technicians are strategically picked to add value to each ROV Team and have a minimum of 3 years working experience in the ROV Service Industry. Submec offers continued training to improve the interpersonal and leadership skills, combined with technical training, required to be part of a highly efficient team.
Submec also trains ROV Pilot/ technicians to become one of the valuable members of our ROV Teams and after a minimum of 2 years training they are then a permanent member of the team.
Offshore Technicians
Our Offshore Technicians have a minimum of 5 years Technical experience and 2 years offshore gained whilst working in the Oil & Gas Industry. All Technicians have a trade background and excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member on any project.
We carefully screen and select suitable individuals to meet Submec requirements to effectively meet each clients or project environment.
Training
Submec is investigating the best possible way to move forward and train personnel in the operation, service and safe use of ROV systems and offshore operations. This training is based on standard operating models and benchmarks laid out by IMCA, Perry Slingsby and the ROV & Offshore industry.
Submec understands there is currently a shortage of experience personnel and that this will only increase if the training programs are not introduced and maintained.
