General Mechanical Design

K.T. Engineering / Gemco Rail - RGS on JCB Tractor Submec designed and detailed the front and rear rail guidance system on the JCB 3CX Tractor. The RGS is for narrow gauge rail and retract/rotates up out of the way for road travel.
K.T. Engineering / Gemco Rail - RGS on Mitsubishi Fighter 7.0 Submec designed and detailed the front and rear rail guidance system on the Mitsubishi Fighter 7.0 truck. The truck also had rear stabilisers and rail clamps also designed and detailed by Submec. The RGS is for narrow gauge rail and rotates up out of the way for road travel.
K.T. Engineering / Spoornet - RGS on Isuzu FSR 700 Submec designed and detailed the front and rear rail guidance system on the Isuzu FSR700 truck. The truck also had rear stabilisers and rail clamps also designed and detailed by Submec. The RGS is for narrow gauge rail and retract/rotates out of the way for road travel. The rear RGS is drive by a gearbox designed by Submec so that the truck tyres drive a friction drum and through the gear ratio the rail wheels propel the truck forward or reverse up to 60 km/h.
Petroleum & Mining Eng - Offshore Diesel Tank Submec designed and detailed the offshore mobile diesel tank for Petroleum & Mining Engineering.
Global Industries - West Natuna Gas Development Submec design and detailed the cable reel base frames, tensioner and overboard chute system and pipeline pig launchers & receivers for Hyundai Heavy Industries West Natuna Gas Development.
Woodside Energy Ltd Submec designed and engineered the Offshore Cable Reel. Submec supplied detail drawings, and a manufactures data report supplied.
Dampier Salt / Cumming Eng - Load-out Conveyors Submec detailed the boom load-out conveyor and take-up towers for Dampier Salts Cape Cuvier mine.
